Stephen D. Ament, 69, of Alexandria, KY passed away on Friday, April 5th at his residence. He was a retired machine operator with United Dairy Farmers in Norwood, OH., an active member of First Christian Church, Ft. Thomas, KY and a member of the Tuesday Night Dance Group, Ft. Wright, KY. Steve was also an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his step son, Kevin Ament and his parents, William and Virginia Ament. Steve is survived by his wife, Bette Ament of Alexandria; son, David (Kelly) Chrzanowski of Ft. Thomas, KY; daughters, Julie (Bryan) Perry of Maineville, OH and Dawn (Doug) Koesters of Liberty Township, OH; step son, Keith Ament; brothers, William (Marlene) Ament Jr. of Independence, KY and Andrew R. Ament of Edgewood, KY; sisters, Virginia (Wilbur) Herrmann of Cold Spring, KY and Carol Paden of Highland Heights, KY; 8 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren and his close friend, Barry (Babette) Siemer. A special thank you to Caregivers, especially Wanda Ramsey and Mary Allen, for their support and countless hours of excellent care. Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, April 8th at the First Christian Church of Ft. Thomas, KY. Memorials are suggested to the Miami Valley Down Syndrome Association 1133 S. Edwin C.
