HUDSON

Paul E., age 82, of Lebanon, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at The Inn at Renaissance Village. He was born May 8, 1931 in Cincinnati and lived most of his life in the Cincinnati/West Chester area. He graduated in the class of 1949 from Hughes High School in Cincinnati. Paul served for 12 years in the Ohio National Guard. He was employed for 11 years as a firefighter for the City of Cincinnati; as a fire inspector for 27 years for General Electric; and as assistant fire chief for West Chester, where he was a volunteer for 30 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and formerly served as a Deacon. He was a school bus driver for Middletown Christian and Lakota Public Schools. Preceding him in death were his parents, Ross and Lettie (Jones) Hudson; his first wife, Theda M. Hudson in 2007; his second wife, Masa Hudson in 2012; and one brother, Robert "Bob" Hudson. He is survived by four children, Paula J. Whitlock, husband Gary, Jerry Hudson, U.S. Navy Commander Donald Scott Hudson, wife Tammy, and Brenda S. Schwier; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Grace Baptist Church, 3023 N. Union Road, Middletown, followed by services at 12:00 noon with Dr. James Head officiating. Interment will be at Grace Memorial Gardens.
