Juanita Hester Poe, daughter of Maggie (Browning) and Oney Hester, born October 14, 1923. Predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Theleston K. Poe, two sisters, M. Louise Hester, and Berndina Hester Pugh and her husband Orie Pugh; one brother, Donald Hester and his wife Mary Hester; and a grandson, Brian K. Poe. Survived by a son, Larry Poe (Barbara), a daughter, Linda Poe, two grandsons, Marty (Kristy) Poe and Robby (Amanda) Poe, and three great grandchildren, Andrew Poe, Emma Poe, and Madison Poe. Juanita worked in several jobs, managed the office for her husband's business, and then worked in the pharmacy at Twin Towers Retirement in Cincinnati. After her retirement, she worked as a Foster Grandparent in Augusta School for 22 years before retiring for the second time and moving to Cincinnati with her daughter. She was active in many organizations including Girl Scouts, Job's Daughters, Member of Augusta Chpater of Eastern Star, past Worthy Matron of Foster Chapter, past Regent of Buckner Chapter DAR, secretary of Foster Methodist Church, and a member of Chatham Homemakers. Funeral will be 2 pm on Saturday at Moore & Parker Funeral Home in Brooksville. Burial will be at Brooksville Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-2 pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati 4360 Cooper Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45242. Condolences may be sent to mooreandparkerfh.com
