I worked at St Clement in the library replacing my aunt in the late 90's... Paula was so helpful, kind and welcoming... I have tried to extend to others as she did so effortlessly and completely... Her name fits her perfectly. God bless

Paula was my neighbor, girl scout leader, mother of my best friend, and mother figure to me. Whenever, I would get sad that my own mother was taken so soon by cancer I would console myself by thinking that if she hadn't I would not have moved and had the life I did of which Paula was such an instrumental part. Thank you for helping me be the mother, teacher, girl scout leader, Catholic, and friend I am today. Most of all thanks for bringing the greatest friend I could ever have into the world, Jennifer. Have fun in heaven Paula, you deserve it.

My thoughts and prayers with you all. I remember overnights, Girl Scouts, camping trips, fish frys, church, festivals, throughout my childhood. She taught us all so much. I like to think I'm a better person because of the things she instilled in so many of us all those years ago.

Growing up in Carthage and attending St. Charles school was the beginning of a relationship with Paula that I wouldn't fully appreciate until I became a mom. She was my girl scout leader for several years... so many camping memories, crafts, and volunteering. Her legacy will continue through all of those children who are now adults, sharing her passion and kindness. She is the reason why I'm now a girl scout leader and my daughters are scouts. Prayers to her family during this difficult time.

Believing with you and for you that the energy of her love and friendship to others remains to be lived out by those she touched while her soul takes its own leap I out of its human journey and into its spiritual journey. She'll see you all at another time.

My sympathy to you, Jim, and all of the Blessing family. Yesterday all of us at St. Clement School prayed a blessing for Paula and all of you. How many special occasions with the school kids she documented with her photography! How many little fingers now tickle the computer keys with ease, thanks to her teaching. True to her name...a Blessing!
