George "Henry", beloved husband of the late Shirley Knopf for 53 years, loving father of Rick (Susan), Dave and Larry Knopf, cherished grandfather of Amanda, Ellen, Laura and Tori Knopf & great grandfather of Zurie & Darius. Henry is the brother of Lia, Fred, Elfriede, Johanna, Nina, Emily, Robert and Linda and the late Ernest, Anna Margaret, Karl and Walter. He passed peacefully Friday October 10, 2014 at the age of 81. Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation Saturday October 18, from 10 AM until the time of funeral service at 11:30 AM at the St. Peter & St. Paul United Church of Christ 3001 Queen City Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio 45238. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Manna Outreach. www.dwifuneralhome.com

I have fond memories of Mr. and Mrs. Knopf's house on Hillfred Lane. My siblings and I were always welcomed and guided by their marital bond. May God Bless and comfort Rick, Dave and Larry (and the rest of the Knopf family) in their time of grief.
