I met Mr. Rheins when his son Bruce and I attended grade school together. My late parents noted that Mr. Rheins was the finest electrician in the area and he completely rewired my grandfather's house. He took me to the ATA Grand American Trap shoot when I was a boy, and many years later, he used to give me tips about international trap shooting. Fortunately, he came to the gun club a several weeks ago and I was able to see him again. He will be fondly remembered by all the trap shooters at Fairfield Sportsmen's Association as a great gentleman and a wonderful competitor.

I grew up with Bruce while we attended Walnut Hills together. BR's parents were both wonderful people. Hospitable, jovial, generous, and always kind to me and the other members of "The Pops". Papa Rheins was always interested in how we were maturing as young men both intellectually and spiritually. An unpretentious, hard working man, who showed me by example how to be a good husband, father, and friend. He always had a fun loving joke, or a fatherly word of advice. He and his wife welcomed me into their home and allowed me to feel like another son in their family while I was growing up in Cincinnati. I'll always remember his big smile and the twinkle in his eyes.
Thanks BR for sharing him with us. Perk
