Hon. S. Arthur Spiegel, age 94, passed away December 31, 2014. Memorial services Monday, January 5 at 12:30 PM at Plum Street Temple, 8th & Plum St., Cinti. OH 45202. Visitation at Plum St. Temple on Monday begins at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Judge S. Arthur Spiegel Family Fellowship Endowment Fund c/o University of Cincinnati College of Law, 2540 Clifton Ave., Cinti. OH 45221 or Judge S. To The Spiegel Family:
When God made Art Spiegel the mold was never used again. Art Spiegel was a "mans/man". Art stood for what was fair & correct and you always knew where he stood. Judge Spiegel is now sitting on the bench with the being that will judge us all.
What an honor it was to have The Spiegel family as friends.
May Art Spiegel's memory be for a blessing.

Art was a longtime neighbor and friend of our family. We will miss him greatly and treasure his writings and paintings, of which we have many.He made a great contribution to the spirit of Egbert Avenue and was a tireless advocate for justice.

Art and Don had a lifetime of family friendship and tennis matches. Our hearts go out to Louise and the family, it's difficult to imagine a day without the mighty spirit of the Judge.

Art was with our family during the early years, through happy and sad times. Paul Nemann had a father in Art who generously guided him through work and life. Tommy , Erica, and myself will forever appreciate Art's presence. He walked the walk. With courage, he fought for the underdog, and made a difference. Art cared. He so loved his Weezy , and his boys.

Art and Louise were present for us during our early years, during our happy times and sad times.
Paul Nemann loved Art like a father--their close bond was felt by all. Paul appreciated Art's fidelity to their friendship, always.
Art's contribution to everything good will have resounding trumpet sounds from on high .
He fought for the underdog, and countered the greed, the short cuts, and the wrong, with humanitarian decisions from his bench.
