James Grogg Obituary
James R. "Jim", beloved husband of the late Phyllis Grogg; loving father of Betsy (Derek) Weber of Erie, CO, and Eric (Stacy) Grogg of Charlotte, NC; grandfather of Morgan and Lucy Weber, Amber, Camryn, and Tyler Grogg. Jim graduated from University of Cincinnati in 1956. He then served in the Ohio Air National Guard before attending and graduating from Xavier with his MBA. Jim's career, in Christian Publishing, spanned 42 years with Standard Publishing and Group Publishing. Upon retirement he was named a lifetime member and "Giant in the industry" by the Evangelical Christian Publishing Association. Jim passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the age of 82. Private services have been held. Memorials may be directed to Mason Christian Village, 411 Western Row Rd., Mason, OH 45040.
