HARDY
ASHEVILLE - Dorothy Cornelia Hardy, daughter of Winston and Alice Daugherty Carson departed this life on Monday, December 31, 2012.
Mrs. Hardy was a member of Mills Chapel Baptist Church; formerly employed with the Billy Graham Library, Black Mountain Elementary School and Camp Rockmont Summer Camp.
Surviving are her nieces, Yvonne Wright and Wanda Baskerville; nephews, William Gardner, Rodney Carson, Joel, Danny, and "Little Curly" Baskerville; sister-in-law, Corrine Carson; a number of cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Isaiah Hardy; brother, Ernest Carson and sister, Lucille Baskerville.
Services will be held Thursday at Noon in the chapel of Western Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery. Rev. Diana Mills will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Hart Funeral Service. An online memorial register is available at www.hartfuneralservice.com
