Frances Isabella Lock
Woodfin - Frances Isabella "Fran" Lock, 87, of Woodfin, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville, NC.
Frances was born in Tryon, MI to the late Alexander Hall and Sophia Knipperath. She is also preceded in death by her husbands, James Adolf Mathisen, Robert "Bob" Pageloff, Wilbur Lock; son, Roger Mathisen and daughter, Jackie Mathisen.
Surviving Frances is her sons, Douglas Wayne Mathisen of Freeport, IL, Craig Steven Mathisen and fiancé Sherry May Splitter of Freeport, IL, Ronald H. Mathisen of Palm Springs, CA; daughters, Sharon Mathisen of Dixon, IL, Linda Voeglie of Monroe, WI; sister, Dorothy Whitfield of DeKalb, IL, grandchildren; Jeremy Lee Mathisen of Asheville, NC, Margaret Ryms Mathisen of Lawndale, NC, Craig Mathisen Jr. of Asheville, NC, and Tiffiny Nicole Dianne Mathisen of Gastonia, NC, Billy Voeglie of Monroe, WI, Julie Voeglie of Monroe, WI; best friend, Kirk Johnson of Freeport, IL, and caretaker, Don Veach of Mars Hill, NC.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Woodland Hills Church with Pastor Bob Belford officiating. The family will receive friends at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville, NC.
