Charles "Eric" Rohrer

Asheville - Charles "Eric" Rohrer, born on June 6, 1947 passed away July 3, 2014 after a very long and courageous fight with cancer. He was the son of Harry & Jeanette Rohrer who preceded him in death.

Eric retired from Clayton Homes after a career with Seaboard Railroad. He was a very avid Nascar fan, he enjoyed cooking, fishing and camping

Eric is survived by a son Travis (Marcia) of Helena Montana, two daughters, Brittany Craig (David) of Candler, Courtney Walters (Bill) of Taylors SC, brother Ralph of Augusta GA, sister Debra a aunt Betty Rohrer both Asheville, a cousin Pam Edwards of Weaverville, a very special friend Brenda Wright and his 4 legged son Gizmo, he has 7 grand children Madisyn, Reanna, Samone & Gabriel Craig all of Candler, Addie, Alex & David Walters of Taylors SC

The family would like to thank the staff on the 100 wing of The Laurel of Green Tree and the supporting staff, and the staff of the John Keever Solace Center for the special care and love they gave to Eric during his stay with them.

A gathering of friends is being planned for July 13, 2014 at the home of his sister at 21 Larchmont Rd. Asheville beginning at 2:00PM.
