Frankie Rector Wallin

Marshall - Arriel Frankie Rector Wallin, 89, of Marshall, went to be with her Savior, Thursday, January 24, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Wallin was born October 7, 1923 in Madison County to Fred A. Rector and Dorothy Davis Rector. A graduate of Marshall High School, she worked during WWII in Ohio and retired from Kellwood Manufacturing in 1982. In 1946, she wed Hiram Winfred Wallin with whom she celebrated 52 years of marriage. Mrs. Wallin lived her life as a devoted Christian, wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters; one brother; a son-in-law, Ronnie Shelton; and a great-grandaughter, Courtney Burrell.

Surviving are her sister, Nina Hunter; children, Yvonne (Charles) Ramsey, Rodney (Phyllis) Wallin, Annette Shelton and Beth (David) Worley; grandchildren, Chris Ramsey, Yevette Norton, Sara Goldsmith, Jeremy and Sam Wallin, Brandi Shelton, April Worley Norton and Adam Worley; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, January 27, 2013 in the chapel of Madison Funeral Home with Reverends Larry Sprouse, Toby Anderson and grandson, Adam Worley officiating. Interment will be at J. Lee Henderson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Madison Funeral Home.
