On December 8th, 2012, Alex Jarosz, a twenty year old so very full of life, tragically departed this world. On this day the world lost a dearly beloved son and grandson, a true friend to many, a cherished nephew and loved cousin. Since entering this world on February 19, 1992 he gave an abundance of joy to many and he leaves behind an infinite amount of memories.
Alex had a passion for extreme sports from snow, to asphalt, to water…he excelled in all. His creative spirit poured out through his music, artwork and writings. His twinkling eyes, contagious smile and wonderfully unique personality will eternally remain in the hearts of countless lives he touched. Alex simply sparkled.
In the short time since his passing, the impact Alex made on the lives of those around him has clarified itself beyond doubt. Alex's genuine love of people, unwavering friendship and compassionate heart touched many lives and was by far his greatest achievement in life. His legacy will never be forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Renfroe.
He is greatly loved and he is deeply missed by his parents, Jeffrey Caldwell and Silky Caldwell of Asheville, N.C., George and Heather Jarosz III of Bunnell, Fla.; grandparents, Carol Renfroe, Carla and George Jarosz, and Ted and Susie Caldwell; and his vast family and many friends…but in a better world he rests--in peace.
A candlelight memorial service will be held at Lake Julian on Monday, December 31, 2012 at sunset.
