Kelli Baird Lovelace

Asheville - Kelli Baird Lovelace, 59, of 106 Arthur Road, passed away June 28, 2013 in her home. Kelli was a lifelong resident of Asheville and a graduate of Asheville High School's class of 1971.

Kelli had an easy going spirit and a heart of gold, and her smile had a way of making others feel warmer. Whether it was a sweet voicemail, a hard squeeze with an "I love you" attached, or her infectious giggle when sitting around her mom's kitchen table swapping memories with her family, Kelli shared her love genuinely and humbly.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy Hoyle and Tim Plemmons of Charlotte; son, Lee Lovelace of Asheville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Vicki and Richard Perkins of Asheville and Ginni and David Fender of Charlotte; granddaughter, Avery Plemmons; five nieces and nephews, and five great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pat Baird; father, Clyde Leeson; stepfather, Thurman Baird; grandparents, Leona and JC Grice; and her beloved cat, Pooky.

The family will hold a private graveside memorial at Green Hills Cemetery on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 3 PM. Friends are invited to visit with the family Friday, July 5, between 4:30 and 7:30 PM at 4 Eden Glen Road, Black Mountain.
