LILLIAN LEQUIRE CABLE
ROBBINSVILLE, NC - Lillian Lequire Cable, 90, of the Wolf Creek Community near Robbinsville, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Graham Healthcare and Rehab.
A native of Graham County, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and Lelia Crisp Lequire. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Cable in August, 1996, and her son, Steve Cable in July, 1965.
She is survived by her son, Kerr Cable of Wolf Creek; her daughters and sons-in-law, JoAnn and Zane Buchanan of Robbinsville, NC, and Jennifer and Robert Hyde of Wolf Creek; her sisters, Beryl McElrath of Lynn Haven, FL, Rilla Edwards of Union Mills, NC, and Maxine Summers of Knoxville, TN. She has seven grandchildren, William Garland, Kimberly Long, Amy Garland, Amanda Cable, Blake Cable, Adam Hyde, and Jessica Hyde. Her great grandchildren are Megan and Max Garland and Wesley Martin and Emily Grindstaff.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Stecoah Baptist Church, of which she was a faithful member. The Reverends G.D. Phillips and Jimmy Millsaps will officiate. Burial will follow at Breedlove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 p.m. Sunday at the Church, prior to the services.
