Fleming, Jr.
Asheville - Mr. Vokel W. Fleming, Jr., of 102 Mountain St., departed this life Thursday, October 31, 2013. He was a retired sales representative for Winston Mutual Life Ins. Co. and a US Army Veteran of World War II.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Priscilla Martin and Sheila Fleming of Asheville, Lois Blakeney (Thomas) of Decatur, GA and Margaret Fleming of Charlotte; sister, Lorine Wade of Gurley, AL; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services will be held Thursday at noon in the chapel of Hart Funeral Service. Rev. Keith Lipsey will officiate, burial will be in WC State Veteran's Cemetery.
