ALMOND, N.C. - I Corinthians 13:11: "When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things."
A native of Buncombe County. Mr. Brigman "Junior" as affectionally called by his siblings was born on March 26, 1937 and passed away on Oct. 16, 2012. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and a carpenter by trade. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ira Brigman, Sr., and Virginia Calloway Brigman; and sisters, Margaret King, Velva Harwood, and Caroline Little; and a wife, Rannette.
Survivied by brother, Neil Brigman and beloved sister-in-law, Latrice; and sisters, Betsy Miles of Washington, Paula Barber of Georgia, Sandy Nutting of Georgia, Sharon Martin of Virginia, Peggy Warren of North Carolina and their families; children, Bronte' Allen, Marcus Brigman and wife, Odallas; grandchildren, Dustin Allen, Ariana and William Brigman.
A celebration of life was held at the home of Neil and Latrice in Candler, N.C.
