Pendergraph
Arden - Teresa S. Pendergraph, 54, died Friday, March 25, 2011.
A native of Asheville, she was the daughter of the late James and Lillian Hendrix Compton, and was also preceded in death by a sister, Willie Ingle and two brothers, Lamar and Ralph Smith. She was a former employee of Apple Tree Honda.
Teresa is survived by her husband, Michael Pendergraph; two daughters, Aleah Penland of Weaverville, Christine Laws (Phillip), of Elkhart, IN; six grandchildren, David Waddell, Katelyn Penland, Chris Laws, Michael Laws, Kiele Laws and Brayden Laws. Also surviving are three sisters, Roberta Creasman (Roy), Judy Banner and Margaret Buchanan.
Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian conducted by the Rev. Mike Anderson. Interment will follow in Shepherd Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Four Seasons Compassion for Life, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731. The memorial register is available at grocefuneralhome.com.

Our last visit with Aunt Teresa was the most joyous time and we will treasure that time we shared forever.
Uncle Mike, words can not express how much our family cares for you. We know the love you have for our Aunt is a gift from God. Times will be tough ahead, but trust in the Lord with all your heart and cherish the memories you have. Please know that we all are praying for you and should you need an ear to talk to, you have us to call on.
