Alexander - Crystal Dawn Coomer Glisson, 34 passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at her home.
A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Crystal graduated from AB Technical College with a Paramedic Certificate and was previously employed with the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office. Crystal loved photography and flowers. She will always be remembered as a loving mother who adored her children, as well as a loving daughter, granddaughter, and aunt.
She was the daughter of Garry and Cathy Caldwell Coomer. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by her children: Chloe Buchanan and Caelin Glisson; brother, Darrick Coomer and wife Tiffany; nephew Hunter Coomer; maternal grandparents: Reuben and Beverly Caldwell; paternal grandparents: Berry Thomas and Elva Lee Coomer; and several aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6:30-9:00 PM Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Green Hills Cemetery, with the Rev. Richard Baird and Rev. Dr. Allen Raines officiating.

Chloe and Caelin Trust Fund at any SunTrust Bank for the benefit of Chloe Buchanan and Caelin Glisson.

To the Family,
I am so sorry for your lost. It has been years since I've seen Crystal. I worked with her at the Civic Center during events once she became a paramedic. We talked all the time when she was expecting with Chloe. And when Chloe was born, we talked about her being earing impaired. There was always laughter, especially when she would tell me how Chloe would take the her earing devices off her head so she wouldn't have to hear Crystal. I would tell her that she had a smart baby! Please know that I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. May the memories of Crystal bring peace and joy to your hearts.
