Mildred Parker Stafford
Fairview - Mildred Parker Stafford, age 90, of Cane Creek Rd., died Tuesday, April 10, 2012.
Mrs. Stafford was born February 6, 1922, in Madison County and was a resident of Buncombe County for most of her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Asheville. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Tom and Mary Johnson Parker; and her husband, William Joseph Stafford.
Surviving are her sons, Bill Stafford of Asheville and Thomas "Tommy" Stafford, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.
Her graveside service will be held at 2 PM, Friday, April 13, 2012, in Lewis Memorial Park.
West Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave., Weaverville, is in charge of arrangements.
