Durham - Mrs. Theodora Greenberg Kodack, 92, died Friday afternoon at the Pavilion at Croasdaile Village.
Mrs. Kodack was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She attended the New York City public schools, and secretarial college. She was a long time resident of Asheville, being very active in Temple Beth Ha Tephila. She also volunteered her time at St. Joseph's Hopsital. She was an avid gourmet cook. In 2003, she relocated to Durham and Croasdaile Village.
Mrs. Kodack is survived by her children: Wendy Rosenstock, and her husband, John Cangelosi, of Chapel Hill, NC; James Rosenstock, and his wife, Bridget, of Fayetteville, NC; step-daughter, Stephanie Garza, and her husband David, of Austin, TX; step-son, Larry Kodack, of Durham, NC. She also is survived by 5 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ira Rosenstock and Albert Kodack, and her brother, Martin Greenberg.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at 3:00 pm in Few Chapel at Croasdaile Village. Officiating will be Rev. Denise Waters.
