YVONNE DELOI MARTIN

ASHEVILLE - Yvonne DeLoi Martin of Asheville, passed away peacefully at home on January 22, 2013.

She was born in Albany, NY, on January 26, 1935, to James Vincent DeLoi and Margaret Lunsford DeLoi, both preceded her in death, along with her first husband, William Stewart Warren,

and her son, James Vincent Warren.

She is survived by husband, James F. Martin; children, Sabrina Warren, Lynn DeLoi, David C. S. Warren, and Autumn C. Warren; step-children, Steve Martin, Elaine Martin, Mary Martin, and Lori Tucker.

Yvonne (Gramma) will be greatly missed by her 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, who all were her inspiration.

She attended Saint Genevieve of the Pines in Asheville, from grades 6 through 12 graduating as valedictorian. She loved dancing and was a composer of poetry and music. She was a lover of nature and

a strong advocate and of wildlife and the environment. Yvonne was a major supporter of our United States Military such as USO, Wounded Warrior Project, VFW, and many other organization.

She attended Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church where she was a very active member. She loved to play piano and work in her flower garden.

Most of all, she lived a life of uncondition love and compassion and gave so much to her family and community.

Services will be Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 768 Asbury Rd., Candler, NC. Reception to follow in fellowship hall for family and friends.

In lieu of flower please make donations to St. Joan of Arc Church.
