She was preceded in death by her father, Harry W. Harvey; mother, Marian Nordquist Welch and first husband, Stephan Duncan Welch.

Ronnie was born in Fairbanks, Alaska on February 3, 1949. Her family moved to Jacksonville, FL when she was a toddler. She was educated in Duval County schools, graduating from Lee High School in 1967, where Ronnie was a majorette and played in the band.

Ronnie traveled with Steve and family numerous times to Europe, including a barge trip through Belgium, hot air balloon ride over France and a return flight to New York on the Concorde.

Her interests were cooking, reading, listening to live band music and keeping the books for Steve?s band, which played German and various types of music at gigs in Florida and other southeast towns.
