Waynesville - Rev. Floyd Carson Frisbee age 83 of Waynesville went home to be with his Lord on July 20, 2014. He was born in Madison County to the late Tommy and Maggie Justice Frisbee and was also preceded in death by his daughter Cher Frisbee; brothers Doyle, Jesse, Henry, Thomas, Emmett, Clearman Frisbee; and sisters Dorothy Frisbee and Lois Holland. Floyd served our country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and worked at Dayco as a mold operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, beekeeping, and woodworking; and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 58 years, Esther Lee Frisbee of Waynesville; sisters Cecile Farmer and her husband Ray of Gastonia, Trula Mae Long and her husband Rudy of Old Fort; and numerous nephews, nieces, and close family friends. Funeral Services will be at 2PM on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 in the chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery and the family will receive friends on Tuesday from Noon until 2PM at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made in his memory to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at 6931 Arlington Road, Suite 200, Bethesda, Maryland 20814.
