REDMER RUPP

TANEYTOWN - Sarah Beth Redmer Rupp, 30, of Taneytown, died Sunday January 8, 2012 at her home.

Born February 25, 1981 in Westminster, MD, she was the daughter of Bruce W. Redmer of Manchester, MD and Suzanne (Cooke) Carroll of Littlestown, PA. She was the wife of Luke M. Rupp, her husband of eight years.

She was a graduate of North Carroll High School and earned her B.A. at Salisbury University. She was a special needs teacher at T.C. Roberson High School in Asheville, NC . She lived and worked in Asheville until she recently returned home for her treatment. She was a painter and ceramic artist. She enjoyed marathon running.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and parents, are daughter, Ava Rose Rupp and son, Seven Ernesto Rupp, both of Taneytown; brother, Steven H. Redmer of Hanover, PA and sister, Wendy Redmer Lee of Frederick, MD.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm and Thursday from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. A funeral service will be held 10 am Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. LoisAnn Furgess - Oler officiating. Interment will be in Hampstead Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to a trust for the benefit of her children may be made to Luke Rupp, P.O. Box 144, Hampstead, MD 21074.
