CAYDEN WAYNE RUMFELT

MARION - Cayden Wayne Rumfelt, 18, of Marion, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 18, 2012. A native of McDowell County Cayden was born July 18, 1994 and is the son of Gary Wayne Rumfelt and Angela Tessneer Rumfelt. A quiet unassuming boy, Cayden accepted his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at age 12. He had a love of dirt bikes, video games and diesel trucks. He was very protective of his sister, Abigail. He loved just hanging out with his family, friends and church family at Bethel Baptist Church. He was a senior at McDowell High School. Preceding Cayden in death was his paternal grandmother, Shirley Haynes Rumfelt.

Saddened by the loss of Cayden, in addition to his parents, is a sister, Abigail Rumfelt of the home; paternal grandfather, Wayne Rumfelt of Marion; maternal grandparents, Troy and Linda Tessneer of Marion; aunt, Patty Rumfelt Neighbors and husband, Russell, of Marion; uncle, Brent Tessneer and wife, Jean, of Marion; cousins, Russell and Lance Neighbors and Eli Tessneer, all of Marion and a number of friends.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 23, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Upton officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m., prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
