Bobby Gouge Obituary
Statesville - On March 24, 2016, Bob H. Gouge, 79, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, and loving wife Peggy.
Born April 27, 1936, in Bakersville, NC, to the late Jesse Edgar Gouge and Evelyn Wilson Lattimore.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by daughter Beverly Anne Gouge.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Deborah G. Johnson and husband, Woodrow, and Carole Elizabeth Medlin and husband, Jeff; grandchildren, Robbie (Traci) Johnson, Dede (Matt) Sands, Cas and Jacob Medlin; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Maekenzie Sands, Madeleine, Jacqueline and Jake Johnson; brothers, Dave (Tammie) Lattimore and Dennis (Kay) Gouge; and many other loved ones and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 2 PM at Faith Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM at Faith Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 403 Barry Oak Road Statesville, NC 28625.

We would like for each of you to know that we send our deepest sympathy to all of you in the passing of our sweet friend, Bob Gouge. He was so proud of each of his daughters, their husbands, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family members and loved them as well as the multitude of friends that he shared the love of his Heavenly Father with and his genuine love and friendship with. We praise God for his home going with his sweet Peggy, Beverly & many family members but we grieve understand your loss and grief of letting him go. He will always be smiling his love down on you and we will keep you in our prayers in the days, weeks and months ahead. We are so sorry that we were not able to attend his Celebration of Life Service today but our thoughts and prayers were with you. Much love to all of you!

I am one of Bobby's Millbrook classmates--We will miss him at all the reunions. It was great to see him at the reunions and share catch up with each other. Great Christian Gentleman!
