Calvin Tibbetts Obituary
Cal was born July 10, 1936, in Laconia, the son of Maurice and Demerise (Begin) Tibbetts.
Cal served in the Navy. He had lived in the Lakes Region for 59 years before moving to Rochester 15 years ago. He was owner of Tibbetts & Son Electric and had also been employed at Parker & Plumber and Two International, retiring in March 2010.
Cal was a member of the Laconia-Gilford Lions Club for more than 20 years and served as King Lion.
Survivors include two daughters, Shelly A. Middleton and her husband, Craig, of Gilford and Lisa Tibbetts of Moultonborough; a grandson, Kyle Middleton, of Gilford and twin granddaughters, Ashley and Chelsea Ratchford, of Moultonborough.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant St., Laconia. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Andre Bessette Parish, St. Joseph Church, 30 Church St., Laconia, on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia.
For those who wish, the family suggests that expressions of sympathy in Mr. Tibbetts' name be made to Community Health & Hospice Inc., 780 North Main St., Laconia NH 03246.

Hi Cal
I am very happy to have been a friend of yours for many years. I am very glad that we got to spend some time at our 55th High School reunion. We really had some great times growing up, basically across the field, and in grade school and High school. You in the Navy and I in the Air Force.
You went back home and I stayed in Arizona. God bless and keep you forever in his presence.
