Vincent J. Smigiel Jr., 70, of Moosic died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at his home. His wife is the former Carol Oley.
Born in Old Forge, son of Catherine Grayeski Smigiel of Moosic and the late Vincent J. Smigiel Sr., he was a 1959 graduate of Moosic High School.
Also surviving are a son, Vincent J. Smigiel III, Moosic; a daughter, Cara Reed, Old Forge; a sister, Marlene Amaral, Moosic; five grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday in Victor M. Ferri Funeral Home, Old Forge, with the Rev. Norm Demming, pastor of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Taylor, as officiant. Interment will be privately held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call following the funeral service from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
