Norma A, Ermel, 83, of Kingston passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at home.
Born in Plains Township on Oct. 28, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Louis Ubaldini and Maria Bertinelli Ubaldini.
Norma was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Ermel, in 1994.
Prior to retirement, she was employed by the Social Security Administration in Wilkes-Barre.
She was a longtime member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Kingston.
Surviving are her son, Mark Ermel; her daughter, Patricia Ermel Lakhia; son-in-law, Kayed Lakhia; grandchildren, Samantha Lakhia and Izaak Lakhia; and her sister, Diana Super.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 339 N. Maple Ave., Kingston. Interment will follow in Italian Independent Cemetery, Swoyersville. There are no calling hours.
Memorial donations may be sent to Meals on Wheels of Wyoming Valley, 190 S. Sprague Ave., Kingston, PA 18704-3425.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Simon S. Russin Funeral Home, Plains Township.

Deepest sympathy on your loss, she was such a warm and caring person and I know how deeply she loved her family. I had the pleasure of working with her at SSA.
