Magdalene Angelella, 95, of Old Forge died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, at Wesley Village, Pittston.
Surviving are two daughters, Diane Bonadio and husband, Tony, and Dr. Joy Armillay; a sister, Rose Martorelli; grandchildren, Dr. Jason Bonadio and wife, Scottie; Amber Bonadio; Michael Armillay and wife, Reena; and Megan Armillay and fiance, Andrew Calabrese; three great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Juliet Bonadio and Rohan Armillay; nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Sept. 21 in Prince of Peace Parish-St. Mary's Church, Old Forge. Friends may call from 10:30 to 11 a.m. on Sept. 21 at the church.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Louis V. Ciuccio Funeral Home, Old Forge.

Joy, Diane and family,
So sorry to hear of Magdalene's passing. She was such a good friend to my mom. I always enjoyed her company also. Growing up on East Morton St. was enhanced by her presence in our lives. Now she is free of the illness that had taken her from those she loved. May all of your wonderful memories of her comfort you.

Magdalene was an exceptional teacher. She had a wonderful smile and a warm personality. She made you feel important and always gave sound advice. She was an angel and was one of my fond memories of OFHS include her classes. May you rest in peace.
