Eileen (Gig-Gee) Karnis, 58, of Moosic died Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, in Marco Island, Fla., while vacationing with her family.
She is survived by her children, Kris Karnis and Melissa Dymek and husband, Brian; her siblings, Mike Brown and wife, Diane, and Sharon Yackobowitz and husband, John; brothers-in-law, Scott Rosser, Lee Rosser, Mark Felkowski and John Tomasetti; sisters-in-law, Michaelene Felkowski, Mary Lou Tomasetti and Karen Sulz; many nieces and nephews; and her grandchildren, Cole and Paige.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday from Queen of the Apostles Parish, Avoca. Those attending the funeral are asked to go directly to the church.
Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home Inc., Old Forge.

Eileen will be missed. I got to know her when I worked in Kingston. A very kind and caring person who cherished her family especially her grandchildren. So Sorry for your loss.

We love Gig Gee and will always remember her warmth, kindess and love. She was so loving and generous to Ava and Ava always thought of her as her gig gee!! Sorry for your loss, thoughts and prayers.XO

Eileen you made so I wanted to go to work to see and work with you. Eileen was a great person willing to help anyone and was a great lister and help me with my problems. I love you like a mom and good friend mat you rest in peace. The world was a better place with you in it. To your family I'm sorry for your lose .
