Helen Jaskulski, 94, formerly of South Street, Nanticoke, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Birchwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Nanticoke.
Born Oct. 23, 1918, in Washington, Pa., daughter of the late Martin and Eva Piesko Michalek, she was a member of St. Faustina Parish, Nanticoke, and worked in the cigar mill prior to retirement.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, in 1970; son, John, in 1974; sister, Leona Michalek, in 2010; and daughter-in-law, Margaret Jaskulski, in 2011.
Surviving are sons, Joseph and Martin and his wife, Carol; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A Blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Stanley S. Stegura Funeral Home Inc., Nanticoke. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Newport Township.
