Mary Luzenski, 98, a longtime resident of Nanticoke, passed away Wednesday morning, Nov. 13, 2013, at ManorCare Health and Rehabilitation Center, Kingston, where she was a guest for the past few years.
Born Feb. 10, 1915, in Wilkes-Barre, Mary was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Todoncjal Evanchick.
A homemaker most of her life, Mary was dedicated to tending to the daily needs of her home and family.
Mary was a member of the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witness, Nanticoke.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Luzenski; her daughter, Carol M. Durkish; and her brothers.
Mary is survived by her son, Charles Luzenski and his wife, Arlene, Richboro; her grandchildren, Jason Durkish and Jeffrey Durkish; and her nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Grontkowski Funeral Home P.C., 51-53 W. Green St., Nanticoke.
Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
Friends are invited to call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service Saturday at the funeral home.
