Sharon Searfoss, 70, of Plymouth passed away Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
She was born Feb. 1, 1942 in Plymouth, and was a 1959 graduate of Harter High School. She was formerly employed by Alta Shoe and Heavenly Shoe and was a former member of Franklin Street Primitive Methodist Church.
A white dove has flown to heaven, the daughter of the late Marion and Pendryl Bevan of Plymouth. Sharon Searfoss began her journey to heaven on Oct. 12, 2012. She was a mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and cousin, but best known to all as a friend.
Besides her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Searfoss; and sister, Ruthie Bevan.
Sharon is sadly missed by her daughter, Lynn Bevan Mitchell and son-in-law, Dale Mitchell, Plymouth; sister, Joyce Poltz and brother-in-law, John, Kingston; grandsons, Jeffrey Shinko and Dale Mitchell Jr., Plymouth; also many nieces, nephews, cousins, her beloved companion rascal and many Facebook followers.
The family would like the Dr. Greenwald, Dr. Clark Gerhart and Dr. Almeky for all of their help during the last three years.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from Williams-Hagen Funeral Home Inc., 114 W. Main St., Plymouth, with the Rev. Ronald Cease officiating. Interment in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday.

My thougths and prayers go out to you Lynn and Sharon's family. I knew Sharon (White Dove ) for many a years.She is one terrific woman,I will miss her calling me and talking about old times and from my grandkids to her grandkids and it goes on and on .And she loved Lynn very much always talked about her, Im blessed to have got to seen her while she was in the hospital.Rest in Peace my friend.i will miss you Lynn if you need anything let me know.God bless you All

An angel on earth is now called home to be an angel once again in heaven! God know we will miss her but he has good plans for her with him, never to suffer no more. Sharon you will be saddly missed by many and you will always be loved both here and in heaven.

I am so sorry for your loss. Sharon was not just a good friend an my daughters Godmother but she was also like a mother to be. White Dove will be missed and loved forever. We now have another Gaurding Angel looking over all of us.
