Iorio, Patricia A. Skiptunas - Tampa  
Patricia A. Skiptunas Iorio, 75, wife of Joseph A. Iorio, of Tampa, Fla., died after a courageous 15-year battle with cancer at the home of her daughter in Royersford on Friday evening, Feb. 20, 2015. Born in Nanticoke, she was a daughter of the late Ambrose and Mary Cimbal Skiptunas. She was a graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School, Wilkes-Barre. Mrs. Iorio was the chief voluntary service officer at the Wilkes-Barre Veterans Administration Hospital for more than 15 years, before her retirement in 2003. She was a member of St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church, Lutz, Fla. In addition to her husband of 55 years, Mrs. Iorio is survived by four daughters, Stacy A., wife of Charles Manganiello, Tampa, Fla.; Piper A., wife of Eric Price, Royersford; Jocelyn A., wife of Michael Ouvry, Fuquay Varina, N.C.; and Hilary A., wife of James Cochran, Gilbertsville; one sister, Janet Flora, Kingston; and 10 beloved grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lewis Road at Walnut Street, Royersford, at 10 a.m. Thursday. Officiating will be the Rev. Peter J. DiMaria. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19111, or online at www.fccc.edu/helpingfoxchase . Iwanowski, Catherine - Wyoming  
Catherine Iwanowski, 69, of Wyoming passed away Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, at her residence in Wyoming. Catherine was the daughter of the late Saul and Julia Suhena Sheloski and was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Plains Township, and the Wilkes-Barre LPN Nursing Program. Catherine was a nurse with the former Mercy Hospital in Wilkes-Barre before her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Iwanowski, and brothers, Frank and Marvin Sheloski. Surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Julie Iwanowski; several nieces and nephews; and a cousin, Jack Selepak. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township. Arrangements are under the direction of Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas.
