Andrew (Kutzer) Witinski

Andrew (Kutzer) Witinski, 76, a life resident of Holly Street, Hanover Township, passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at his home.

Andrew was born in Hanover Township on July 16, 1937. He was the son of the late John and Stephanie Seferyn Witinski.

Andrew was a graduate of Hanover Area High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving from 1961 to 1964, during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a bus driver by Churnetski Transportation for many years.

Andrew was preceded in death by his sisters, Theresa Stavish and Dorothy Gavel.

Surviving are his brother, John Witinski Jr. and his wife, Gertrude; nephews, Leonard Gavel, Raymond Stavish and his wife, Joan, Ronald Stavish and his wife, Karen, and John Witinski III; nieces, Marie Cina and her husband, Anthony, and Stephanie Giliffan and her husband, Christopher; and companion for many years, Barbara Zdun.

Friends are invited to attend Andrew's memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday in Exaltation of the Holy Cross Church, Main Road, Buttonwood section of Hanover Township. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Celtic Hospice and Home Health, 601 Wyoming Ave., Kingston, PA 18704.
