Angela Grescavage, 38, of Newport Township passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.
She was born in Wilkes-Barre on June 29, 1975. She was the daughter of Anthony Jr. and Frances Shimkus Grescavage.
She loved spending her time with her loving family. She really enjoyed caring for and loving any and all animals she came across. Her favorite place to go was Camp Bravehearts, an Oncology Camp for Women, Albany, N.Y.
She is survived by her parents, Anthony and Frances; sister, Christine Latsko; brothers, Anthony Grescavage III and Joseph Grescavage; several nieces and nephews.
Angela was known by all as a quiet, precious and pure soul, always putting the need of others ahead of her own. The perfect example of kindness that should be shared by all.

A Blessing service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday from George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 105 N. Main St., Ashley. Family and friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday.
