Anna V. Kile

Anna V. Santos Kile, 60, of Wilkes-Barre passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013.

Born Nov. 27, 1952, in Roosevelt Island, N.Y., she was a daughter of Isidora Vega of Wilkes-Barre and the late Ernesto Santos.

She was formerly employed as a transcriber by former Judge Musto and previously worked for Bank One in New York.

Anna enjoyed doing charity work and had donated her hair to Locks of Love. She continues to help others by being an organ, tissue and cornea donor.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Kile Jr., and brother, Santos Laguerra.

Surviving are her brother, Gabriel Vega, Buffalo, N.Y.; sister, Dolores Laguerra, Wilkes-Barre; and nieces, Rachel, Raisa, Rita and Christiana.

Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home Inc., 465 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre.
