Anne M. Cohen of Kingston died Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Max and Lena Gelb Moskowitz and was a graduate of Hanover High School.
Anne was employed as a business manager by Barre Motel and was a member of Temple Israel, its sisterhood, Hadassah, the Jewish Community Center, and other civic and religious organizations.
Mrs. Cohen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Cohen, in 1965; and sisters, Gussie Rolnick and Ruth Morris.
She is survived by her loving sons, Harvey Cohen, Young Harris, Ga.; and Gary Cohen and his wife, Joan, Las Vegas; grandchildren, Jessica, Brittany and Julie; one great-grandson, Forrest McCullaugh; and sister, Janet Gelb, Kingston.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Temple Israel Cemetery, Denison Street, Swoyersville. Rabbi Larry Kaplan will officiate.
Arrangements are by Rosenberg Funeral Chapel Inc., 348 S. River St., Wilkes-Barre.
Visiting hours will be at the family home, 626 Meadowland Ave., Kingston, from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
