Clara S. DeGraba, 88, (39), of Exeter passed away Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, at the Highland Manor Nursing Home, Exeter.
Born in Exeter, she was the daughter of the late Valerio and Santina Bertoli Zurla.
Clara was a member of St. Barbara Parish at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter, and was a 1942 graduate of Exeter High School.
Prior to her retirement, she had worked at the Wyoming Area School District cafeteria.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic DeGraba, in 1968; brothers, Descio, Steve and Frank Zurla; and sisters, Norma Zurla, Ann Massara and Amelia Menghini.
Surviving are her loving son and favorite daughter-in-law, James and Cindy DeGraba, Exeter; and a sister, Rita Nardone, Wilkes-Barre. Also surviving are her favorite buddy, "Spaz," and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Anthony L. Recupero Funeral Home, 406 Susquehanna Ave., West Pittston.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 28 Memorial St., Exeter. The family requests those attending the funeral go directly to the church on Saturday morning.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
