Daniel J. Gadomski, 62, of West Wyoming passed away Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Plains Township.
Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late Daniel and Carmella Tona Gadomski.
Daniel was a member of St. Monica's Parish at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, West Wyoming, and its Holy Name Society.
He was a 1968 graduate of Wyoming Area School District and Luzerne County Community College.
Daniel was employed by James Eagen and Sons for the past 30 years.
He was a former chairman and member of the West Wyoming Borough Council and a life member of West Wyoming Hose Company No. 1 and the West Wyoming Community Ambulance Association. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 1965.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years, the former Cheryl Bilbow; daughters, Caren and her husband, Michael Iannelli, Chester Springs; and Kristen Gadomski, West Chester; a brother-in-law, Jamie and his wife, Mary Jo Bilbow, Downingtown, and their daughter, Cori; an aunt, Millie Tona, West Wyoming; along with many extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
All those attending the Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Saturday are requested to go directly to St. Monica's Parish in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, West Wyoming. The Rev. Leo McKernan, pastor, will be the celebrant and the Rev. Michael Rafferty will also be concelebrating.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
Memorial donations may be made to the Luzerne County SPCA, the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the West Wyoming Ambulance Association.
