Donna Jolley

Donna Jolley, 68, of Courtdale and Ocala, Fla., ended her life journey Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, in Ocala, Fla.

Born Sept. 12, 1945, in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Neil and Laura St. Clair.

Donna was a graduate of West Pittston High School, the Nesbitt Hospital School of Nursing and St. Joseph's University of Maine, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in healthcare administration.

She held various registered nursing positions in Bethlehem and the Wilkes-Barre area, and served for many years as assistant director of nursing at the Wesley Village in Inkerman.

A member of Dallas Chapter 396, Order of the Eastern Star, and the West Side Women's Club, Donna was a gentle, loving, positive and kind person who will be greatly missed. Despite her health challenges, she always faced them without complaint.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Fran Snyder and Henrietta (Etty) Hastings, and brother, Jack McCarty.

Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Carl Jolley; children, Cheryl and Joseph Walton, Pottstown; Carri and Errol Sewlal, St. Cloud, Fla.; and Jeff and Lori Jolley, Plymouth Meeting; and grandchildren, Emily, Patrick, Sophie, Liam, Julia and Kira. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
