Edward Bednarski, 81, a resident of Lee Park Towers, passed away at home Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013.
Born in Plymouth on Oct. 7, 1932, he was the son of the late Martin and Mary Bednarski.
A graduate of Plymouth High School, Class of 1950, Edward was a U.S. Army
veteran, having served in the Korean War
as a member of the military police.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a salesman in Wilmington, Del., for many years.
Edward was a member of All Saints Parish, Plymouth.
In addition to his parents, brothers, Leonard and John, preceded Edward in death.
Surviving are his daughter, Kate and wife, Trace Cohen, New York City; sister, Julia Narcum, Hanover Township; brother, Stanley and wife, Louise, Hanover Township; brother, Joseph and wife, Marie, Edwardsville; brother, Bernard, Hickory, N.C.; longtime companion, Amelia (Lee) Perlis, Hanover Township; numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in All Saints Parish, 66 Willow St., Plymouth.
