Eugene (Bucky) Kozlofski, 80, of the Honey Pot section of Nanticoke, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, in the Birchwood Nursing Center, Nanticoke, where he had been a guest.
Born in Nanticoke, he was the son of the late Eugene and Frances Pavilitz Kozlofski.
Prior to his retirement in 1998, he was a machinist at the former Topps Bubble Gum. Bucky proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War
He was a member of American Legion Post 350, Nanticoke, and a member of St. Faustina Parish.
Bucky's greatest pleasure in life was to see his nieces play softball and volleyball.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Albert and Florian; sister, Theresa Lesinski; and nephew, Anthony Jason Grevera.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, the former Martha Grevera; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday from Kearney Funeral Home Inc., 173 E. Green St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Faustina Parish. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Nanticoke. Friends may call from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
