Frances Cappellini, 87, died Friday, Feb. 14, 2014, at The Chelsea Assisted Living, Brick, N.J.
Born in Pittston, she was a daughter of the late John and Frances Zikosky. She lived in West Wyoming during her marriage, then moved to Point Pleasant, N.J., and resided there for more than 30 years.
Frances was a homemaker and a communicant of St. Martha's Church, Point Pleasant, N.J.
Frances was predeceased by her husband, Harry Cappellini, in 1977. Also preceding her in death were her sisters, Helen Wasileff, Ann Ochs, Marian Waymire and Bernice Kichilinsky, and brothers, Joseph Ziskoski and Walter Zikosky.
Surviving are her daughters, Nancy Gauger, Pittsburgh; Karen (John) Berkebile, Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Lisa (David) Daniels, Point Pleasant, N.J.; sisters, Betty (Larry) Miller, Kingston; and Dorothy Worth, Lansdale; brothers, John (Anna May) Zikosky, Exeter; and Robert (Mary) Zikosky, Pittston; sisters-in-law, Susan Ziskoski, Falls; and Marion Zikosky, Arizona; brothers-in-law, Edolo (Norma) Cappellini, West Wyoming; and Eugene Waymire, Swoyersville; and six grandchildren, Jill and Laura Gauger, Justin, Jared and Dane DeForest and Christopher Daniels.
A memorial service will held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, with the Rev. James J. Alco officiating.
