Frank (Skip) Skibinski, 79, of West Wyoming, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born Jan. 2, 1935 in Swoyersville, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary Radeski Skibinski.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Techneglass for more than 29 years.
Frank was a member of Immaculate Conception Church of Corpus Christi Parish, West Pittston. He was a graduate of GAR High School, Class of 1953. He was a past member of the Holy Name Society of St. Joseph's Church, Wyoming and was a member of the GMP Union.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth "Sister" Holub Skibinski and daughter Joanne Nerbecki, West Wyoming; several nieces and nephews.

Mario and Marie Adajar, the Keystone Ambulance Association, the West Wyoming Ambulance Association, the wonderful staff of the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital and Highland Manor. A special thank you to Jodi Calabro for all of her care and support she had shown to Frank.
The family would also like to acknowledge everyone who helped Betty and Frank with their support and compassionate care, especially Ann and Danny Voitek, Carmella and Bob Nardone, Frank Perfinski, John and Judy Skibinski, and neighbors, Jason and Brian. Also Michelle Bernardi and the staff at Golden Care for their kindness and helpfulness.
Funeral services will held at 9 a.m. Thursday from Bednarski Funeral Home, 168 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church of Corpus Christi Parish, West Pittston. Interment will be held in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Wyoming.
Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
