George N. Goulstone, 70, of Nanticoke passed away Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born Dec. 7, 1943 in Plymouth, he was the son of the late Vincent and Ruth Joseph Goulstone.
He was a United States Army
veteran and attended Plymouth schools.
George had been employed by Knarrs and Phillips Lighting Co.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, John and Joseph Goulstone; and sisters, Lucille Ferris and Ann Goulstone.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, the former Donna Duke; daughters, Tammy Goulstone and Andrea Goulstone, both of Nanticoke; grandchildren, Joseph and Joshua Goulstone, Ryeya McGee, and Michael Eckrote Jr.; siblings, Vincent Goulstone, Exeter; Patricia Watkins, Nicholas Goulstone, Ruth Ann Coughlin and her husband, John, William Goulstone, and Peter Goulstone and his wife, Anita, all of Plymouth; Tina Danowski and her husband, Joseph, Florida; Elizabeth Mushalla and her husband, Anthony, Hanover Township; and Mark Goulstone and his wife, Kerian, Nescopeck; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday at S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth.
Family and friends may call Tuesday from 2 p.m. to service time, and 7 to 9 p.m.
