Jason C. Folweiler, 27, of Pittston passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, surrounded by his family.
Born in Kingston on Aug. 16, 1985, he was a son of Angelo Folweiler Sr. and Rose Abate Folweiler of Pittston. He was educated in the Pittston Area School District.
Jason was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend who always lived every day of his life to the fullest. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his brothers, Alan Folweiler, Pittston; David Folweiler, Pittston; and Brian and wife, Lisa Folweiler, Duryea; half-brother, Angelo and wife, Crystal; and nieces, Hayley, Lili, Autumn and Jessica Folweiler.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and wife, Carmella Oliveri Abate, Pittston; and paternal grandparents, Harry and wife, Carmella Serpe Folweiler, Pittston.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Graziano Funeral Home Inc., Pittston Township.
Viewing hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 9 a.m. Tuesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Joseph Marello Parish, William Street, Pittston, at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
A private interment service will be held at the convenience of the family.
