Jaxon Joseph Eckrote

Jaxon Joseph Eckrote, infant son of Cory Eckrote and Tracy Gonda, unexpectedly passed away into the arms of the Lord on Friday, Feb. 14, 2014.

Born Nov. 22, 2013, Jax was a parishioner of St. Faustina Church, Nanticoke.

He touched the hearts and changed the lives of all who knew him in his three short months on Earth. He brought so much joy and unimaginable happiness to all who loved him so dearly.

Jax enjoyed being held close by his mommy and daddy, being showered with kisses by his adoring big sisters who fell in love at first sight, being looked over by his big brother, and hanging out on his changing table wearing only a diaper. He is loved and missed deeply by his entire family, who look forward to seeing him again in heaven. His family is thankful to have been blessed with such a precious angel and heaven's gain was our loss when our sweet boy was called by the Lord. Jaxon's family is grateful to have a beautiful guardian angel watching over them for the rest of their lives until they meet again.

In addition to his parents, Jaxon is survived by his sisters, Kaitlin and Cassidy; brother, Maximus; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Martha Eckrote; maternal grandparents, William Goodman and Deborah Goodman; and maternal great-grandparents, Henry and Eleanor Brezinski.

Greeting him at heaven's gates is his maternal great-grandfather, William Goodman.

A Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the main site of St. Faustina's Parish, 520 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke. Private interment services will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.

"There must be Borrowed Angels here in this life, they come along into this world, and make this world bright. They can't stay forever, cause they're heaven sent, and sometimes heaven needs them back again."
